Slightly Stoopid

Slightly Stoopid é uma banda formada em Ocean Beach, San Diego, Califórnia, que descreve sua sonzera como "uma fusão de rock e blues acústico com o reggae, hip-hop e punk". Osa caras lançaram oito álbuns (dois ao vivo) com o seu sexto álbum de estúdio, intitulado "Slightly Not Stoned Enough To Eat Breakfast Yet Stoopid", lançado em 22 de julho de 2008. A banda foi originalmente assinada por Bradley Nowell do Sublime em sua gravadora Skunk Records, enquanto ainda estava no colegial.
Banda formada atualmente pelos intergrantes: Miles Doughty (Vocal/ Guitarra/ Baixo), Kyle McDonald (Guitar, Bass, Vocals), Ryan Moran "RyMo" (Bateria), Oguer (OG) Ocon (Percurssão/ Backing Vocal/ Flauta), DeLa (Saxophone), C-Money (Trumpete/ Teclados).

Slightly Stoopid é conhecido pela sua eclética mistura de punk rock, ska e reggae em seus trabalhos. Quando a banda começou, eles chamaram numerosas influências gosta de punk rock de bandas como Sublime, Operation Ivy, Rancid, e Streetwise. Ligeiramente o primeiro álbum auto intitulado foi lançado meses depois da morte de Brad Nowell em 1996, sob Skunk Records. Suas influências primordias de vieram de artistas como Beenie Man e Buju Banton.
A banda também experimentou um hip-hop em seus álbuns mais recentes. A canção "The Otherside" do álbum Chronchitis são fortes influências do falecido rapper Guru.
